Passages 38 beds
Provides services and programming including pre-treatment services such as relapse prevention, as well as life skills and anger management classes for persons awaiting entrance into treatment facilities or transitional housing
Gateway 72 beds
Provides services and support in partnership with MHS including case management, clinical counseling, housing application assistance, and personal development for persons awaiting entrance into permanent supportive housing or group homes. Formerly the Sojourn Community, it has now merged with MHS' Emergency Shelter for Disabled Men with increased bed capacity.
Independence 72 beds
Provides services including employment readiness for those seeking to find or upgrade employment; and housing readiness for those who qualify for independent or subsidized housing. Also includes a six-bed section for those with physical disabilities, connecting them with services needed to move into independent housing.
VET-GPD 40 beds
Provides supportive services in partnership with Veterans Administrations including recovery workshops, housing assistance and supervised case managment for qualified persons that are participating in the Veterans Administration’s Grant Per Diem program.
Central Intake 56 beds
Provides services in partnership with MHS, CMC, and EDEN to new perons that may allow for diversion out of shelter, immediate placement into more appropriate housing or placement in shelter communiities or waiting lists; orientation to 2100 programming and continuum of care programs; access to basic services such as ID and birth certificate retrieval, support in completion of SSI/SSDI applications as neccissitated; the beginning of a housing plan.
Emergency 70 beds
Provides beds for those that are on the waiting list for other communities; for those that choose not to utilize the full services of the shelter; and for those that are on short term leavess from other shelter communities and housing programs. This area also houses the four recuperative care beds for those shelter residents who need short term minor medical attention by Care Alliance following an illness, accident or hospital stay.
Mat Room 17 beds
Provides sleeping space for shelter overflow, allowing persons the same access to shelter services as in the Emergency Community.
